Commissioning Electrical Assistant

Responsibilities

• Implement pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for electrical equipment and rotary equipment.
• Execute activities with assigned subcontractor crews and ensure effective utilization of manpower and consumables.
• Perform electrical tests including cable tests (megger, induction), motor and transformer tests, relay tests, and electrical panel tests.
• Prepare test forms and ensure all certificates are signed and submitted to the QA/QC certification engineer for final handover.
• Carry out and verify instrument calibration and provide troubleshooting during loop and logic tests.
• Serve as an authorized person for receiving or issuing permits in accordance with the project Permit to Work Procedure.
• Assist supervisors in expediting pending Punch List Items and coordinating construction support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of professional work experience.
• Proven experience in EPC Oil & Gas or Refinery projects.
• Hands-on experience in on-site pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset.
