Commissioning Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall commissioning of Pumped Storage Plant (PSP) plants
• Coordinate commissioning of protection systems and BOP electrical equipment, including CT, PT, Transformers, Busduct, GIS, and switchyard equipment
• Manage coordination between installation teams, commissioning teams, clients, engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors
• Prepare and follow commissioning schedules and plan required tools
• Implement proper handing over processes, including LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) and PTW (Permit to Work) at sites
• Prepare commissioning protocols and manage the closing of punch points

Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience in hydro commissioning, including all types of hydro plants and PSP commissioning
• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of control and protection systems, generator excitation, and governing systems
• Hands-on experience with commissioning packages such as Turbine/Governing, Generator, and Control systems
• Proficiency in project management and leadership
• Sound knowledge of LOTO, PTW, and HSE requirements
• Experience with data acquisition systems (e.g., DeweSoft)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
• Multi-skill capabilities for various commissioning tasks
• Experience working on international/abroad projects
