Commissioned Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide protection for University persons, property, and guests through surveillance and physical patrols.
• Maintain campus security via video monitoring, card access systems, and radio communications.
• Manage crime prevention, parking and traffic enforcement, and campus investigations.
• Identify and report campus safety hazards and perform detailed report writing.
• React quickly, calmly, and professionally to emergency situations and life-threatening scenarios.
• Represent the Christian culture of the University to all students, employees, and guests.

Requirements

• Current Armed Licensed Level III Commissioned Security Officer.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Level III Commissioned Officer.
• Ability to pass a clear background check, drug screening, and MMPI II evaluation.
• Strong physical strength and the ability to remain standing for extended periods.
• Proficiency with firearms and familiarity with security technologies and restraining devices.
• Faith, service, and lifestyle that align with the University's Christian standards and doctrinal statements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Texas Department of Public Safety Level III Commissioned license.
• Previous experience as a Law Enforcement Officer.
