Commissioned Security Officer Level 3

Responsibilities

• Carry out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Report security violations, questionable activities, and monitor for vandalism
• Patrol property by motorized vehicle or foot to prevent crimes and protect workforce
• Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles and personnel
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after operations
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing situations
• Provide assistance to people in need using verbal de-escalation techniques

Requirements

• Completed Level II or Level III security training
• Valid, unexpired Non-Commissioned Officer or Commissioned Officer certification
• Ability to maintain weapons proficiency and self-defense readiness
• Strong surveillance and observation skills
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment
