About the role
Responsibilities
- Recognize good quality products and presentation
- Assist the Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, and Commis I in mis-en-place production
- Attend meetings and training sessions organized by Hotel management
- Achieve high quality production and maintain cost control
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Assist in the production and distribution of food items
- Ensure workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy
- Respect HACCP regulations for the safety of consumable goods
Requirements
- Formal culinary Diploma or equivalent certificate
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Commis chef in a large international class hotel
