Commis de Rang

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Rang in table setup, ensuring impeccable presentation of cutlery, glassware, and crockery
• Serve water, bread, and accompaniments to guests promptly
• Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the dining room ensuring proper temperature and presentation
• Clear plates, glasses, and cutlery from tables to maintain a clean dining area
• Restock service stations with linen, crockery, and condiments
• Assist in efficient table re-setting according to luxury standards
• Polish cutlery and glasses to ensure an impeccable appearance
• Learn menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to support service
• Respond to basic guest requests and escalate complex inquiries to the Chef de Rang
• Collaborate with front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service
