Experimental Chalet Val d'Isère is a new 4-star hotel located in the French Alps, featuring 113 rooms, two restaurants, a cocktail bar, a spa, and meeting spaces. Part of the Experimental group, we redefine hospitality through design, creativity, and exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary preparations
- Execute recipes based on technical sheets
- Prepare dishes according to the menu and special orders
- Verify preparations through tasting, analysis, and rectification
- Store food items according to prescribed methods
- Receive and verify quantitative and qualitative deliveries
- Apply current hygiene and safety rules
- Wear professional attire in compliance with hygiene and safety legislation
Requirements
- Successful experience as a commis de cuisine or similar role
- Good mastery of cooking methods, products, and equipment
- Strong passion for gastronomy
- Rigorous adherence to work procedures and technical sheets
- Good organizational skills and speed of execution
- Strong knowledge of hygiene rules
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
