About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of the kitchen department and guest dining experience
- Work as part of a team to maximize guest satisfaction and comfort
- Take responsibility for assigned duties and tasks in a timely and professional manner
- Deliver on departmental plans, objectives, and hotel initiatives
- Collaborate with supervisors to control costs, inventory, and productivity
- Build and maintain effective working relationships while promoting company values
- Ensure adherence to all legislation, due diligence, and best practice activities
Requirements
- Prior kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
- Hands-on approach with a can-do work style
- Commitment to exceptional guest service and passion for hospitality
- Ability to find creative solutions and take ownership of tasks
