About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare vegetables, meats, fish, and other ingredients according to chef instructions
- Clean, peel, chop, and portion ingredients while ensuring correct storage
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes following recipes and high presentation standards
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing workstations and equipment
- Assist in stock management, inventory checks, and receiving deliveries
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and allergen protocols
- Support senior chefs with daily prep work and service duties
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service in a fast-paced environment
