Commi I – Kitchen

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and cooking menu items under the guidance of senior chefs
• Handle mise en place for assigned sections
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of workstations
• Follow recipes, portioning standards, and kitchen procedures
• Support smooth service flow during busy periods
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Adhere to HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain consistency and quality

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commi I in a fine dining kitchen in the UAE
• Strong basic culinary skills and understanding of kitchen operations
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
• Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to learn
• Culinary certification is an advantage
