Commercial WIP Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage billing and WIP (Work in Progress) for a portfolio of clients
• Oversee job opening and closing processes to ensure best practices
• Collaborate with Commercial Managers and client teams to review open jobs
• Ensure timely client billing and adherence to internal invoice processes
• Manage credit notes, VAT rules, and foreign currency policies
• Perform credit checks and set up new clients in Workday
• Liaise with Finance Debtors to resolve issues and manage Net Working Capital
• Ensure compliance with ICFR regulations and assist with audits
• Run ad-hoc reports on Workday for brand teams

Requirements

• Experience in media or service-oriented businesses with a commercial focus
• Familiarity with Billing, WIP, and Net Working Capital management
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., SUMIFS, VLOOKUPs)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to process improvement
