Commercial Vehicle Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Expertly handle a variety of repairs and maintenance work on a large fleet ranging from light vans to 7.5t trucks
• Carry out regular maintenance schedules and complete online records and stock control
• Organize MOT inspections and respond to vehicle breakdowns
• Work as part of a team to achieve reliability and maintenance targets
• Work alternate weekday shift patterns (07:30–16:00 or 12:00–20:30)

Requirements

• City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Mechanics
• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years
• Initiative, planning skills, and a flexible, enthusiastic approach

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with commercial vehicles or HGVs
• C1 (7.5 tonne) driving licence
