Commercial Solution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Uncover business challenges through targeted discovery sessions or workshops
• Create and showcase solution prototypes to business users
• Build and present customized demos for customers, trade shows, and webinars
• Articulate the business value of the Sigma platform to all organizational levels
• Deliver technical and security responses to RFPs/RFIs
• Advise on integration and data migration approaches for analytics strategies
• Manage multiple customer engagements concurrently

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of analytics, business intelligence, or sales engineering experience
• Strong understanding of database concepts
• Understanding of advanced spreadsheet concepts
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery)
• Experience implementing production BI solutions or proof of concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical/analytics field or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a SaaS company or with cloud architectures
• Experience with data analytics business use cases
• Startup experience
• ETL experience with Fivetran, Matillion, or traditional ETL tools
