Commercial Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and retain top commercial AE talent
• Inspect daily workflow including pipeline hygiene, activity cadence, and deal velocity
• Run structured weekly 1:1s and team meetings to reinforce priorities
• Build and execute individualized coaching plans to accelerate development
• Partner with AEs on live deals, supporting negotiations and internal approvals
• Maintain pipeline accuracy in Salesforce and provide accurate forecasting
• Drive outbound and inbound motions to acquire net new merchants in the SMB to mid-market segment
• Design repeatable skills frameworks for prospecting, discovery, and product demos
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Legal, and Finance to accelerate deal cycles

Requirements

• 3+ years as a closing Account Executive with a consistent track record
• 1+ years in a team lead or management role
• Experience in high-velocity, high-transaction sales environments
• Proficiency in Salesforce and disciplined pipeline management
• Experience navigating cross-functional processes with Legal and Finance
• High emotional intelligence and passion for people development
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with MarTech, ecommerce, or DTC ecosystems
• Experience selling against legacy MarTech or service platforms
• Exposure to Klaviyo's platform or comparable marketing automation tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
