About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of accounts with five and six-figure contract values
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including agents, trade associations, and government departments
- Achieve and exceed agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets
- Identify new business opportunities and develop them into long-term relationships
- Conduct market research to understand client objectives and tailor partnership propositions
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and other internal departments to ensure cohesive event delivery
- Attend events to liaise with clients onsite and ensure contract fulfillment
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in B2B conference and exhibition sales
- Proven experience selling large-scale exhibitions
- Strong skills in new business generation, lead generation, and cold calling
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and managing sales reporting
- Ability to identify key decision-makers and navigate complex sales cycles
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working within the energy market (particularly oil & gas)
- Established working relationships within the event organization sector
