Commercial Sales Consultant

Responsibilities

• Build and nurture relationships with general contractors, architects, facility managers, property owners, and building engineers
• Prospect and qualify commercial opportunities such as warehouse doors, dock systems, sectional doors, access controls, rolling steel doors, and gate systems
• Conduct site visits and job walks to assess existing conditions and system needs
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, estimates, and bids
• Collaborate with operations, technical, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Serve as a product expert on codes, materials, hardware, and new door technologies
• Represent the company at trade shows, local associations, and networking events
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and manage sales pipeline
• Facilitate post-installation follow-ups and warranty relationships

Requirements

• Proven sales experience in construction, industrial doors, garage doors, or building products
• Technical aptitude and curiosity
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational habits and attention to detail
• Familiarity with CRM software, Excel, and Microsoft Office
• Self-driven and able to manage own territory
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction specs, and architectural plans
