Commercial Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Solicit commercial truck tire accounts and manage sales for area fleets
• Promote new tires, retreads, and various tire services to existing and prospective customers
• Maintain current accounts through regular sales calls and consistent follow-up
• Meet established sales and gross profit goals while maintaining acceptable profit margins
• Evaluate customer needs and provide accurate product and service recommendations
• Prepare weekly sales plans and complete all required call reports
• Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of all products and services offered

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver's license in good standing
• Ability to obtain a DOT med card
• Previous sales experience
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs routinely and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
• Ability to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug test

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous commercial tire sales experience
• 5+ years of experience in the tire industry
• Specific knowledge of retread tires
