Commercial Renewal Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage renewal and retention activities for a portfolio of small to mid-size subscription accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and revenue retention
• Execute end-to-end renewal processes for subscription-based products, including Data and Know Your Customer (KYC) related renewals
• Proactively engage with customers regarding renewal timelines, pricing discussions, and documentation requirements
• Partner with sales managers, operations, compliance, and customer service teams to support account coverage and issue resolution
• Maintain accurate renewal forecasts, pipeline visibility, and customer records using CRM tools
• Participate in customer business reviews to strengthen relationships and identify potential retention risks or growth opportunities
• Ensure all activities comply with company policies, regulatory standards, and ethical guidelines

Requirements

• Experience in account management, commercial renewals, customer retention, or similar client-facing roles
• Proven ability to manage multiple renewal activities across a diverse portfolio of accounts
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills for engaging with customers and internal stakeholders
• Analytical and detail-oriented approach to forecasting, pipeline management, and contract execution
• Solid understanding of subscription-based business models
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Data or Know Your Customer (KYC) related products
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts and an interest in using AI tools to improve process efficiency
