Commercial Real Estate Underwriter

Responsibilities

• Participate in reviewing and issuing commercial real estate applications under the direction of senior underwriters
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Commercial Real Estate Underwriting functional area
• Research and evaluate less complex operational challenges to select appropriate alternatives
• Exercise independent judgment to guide medium risk deliverables
• Present recommendations for resolving complex situations while developing expertise in policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate and consult with internal partners, stakeholders, and customers

Requirements

• 2+ years of Commercial Real Estate Underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, or education
• Ability to evaluate operational challenges and select effective alternatives
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment for medium risk deliverables
