Commercial Project Manager (m/f/d) in Claim Management

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic approaches to defend and enforce commercial and technical claims in collaboration with project teams
• Conduct negotiations with contractors and customers regarding claims
• Identify and evaluate potential claim risks in project business
• Analyze contracts, specifications, and requirements to develop preventive claim strategies
• Collaborate with purchasing, project management, and other departments to implement strategies
• Support the procurement and bidding processes by actively shaping supply contracts and specifications
• Contribute to the expansion of group-wide claim management and facilitate cross-departmental workshops

Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or a comparable qualification
• Professional experience in plant/machinery procurement, technical purchasing, claim management, or project management
• Strong understanding of contractual terms, specifications, and commercial KPIs
• Knowledge of commercial and legal principles
• Fluent English skills (written and spoken)
• Ability to link commercial, technical, and legal aspects effectively
• Strong negotiation skills, communication strength, and a reliable, assertive working style
