Commercial Planning Manager

Responsibilities

• Redesign budget and forecasting processes using automation and AI-assisted workflows
• Lead core commercial planning processes including budgeting, 4+8 forecasting, and monthly latest estimates
• Build clear views of expected performance across key markets to identify risks and opportunities
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, and country teams to understand market performance and customer demand
• Run ad hoc commercial deep dives into revenue, margin, and customer behavior
• Support the Associate Director of Planning in building stronger planning rhythms and governance

Requirements

• Experience in commercial planning, business planning, trading, or finance
• Experience designing and implementing large statistical forecasting models
• Practical experience using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini to improve analytical processes
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies such as time series, regression, and seasonality
• Experience evaluating forecast accuracy using metrics like MAPE, WAPE, or RMSE
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with SQL, Python, Looker, or Apps Script is a plus
