Commercial Paralegal - Contracts Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full contract lifecycle for commercial agreements, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation
• Maintain and organize the company’s contract database, tracking deadlines, renewals, and obligations
• Provide guidance to business teams on contract terms and company policies
• Maintain contract templates and playbooks while identifying opportunities for standardization
• Support the General Counsel with legal operations initiatives, including tooling selection, RFP processes, and patent program management
• Create and maintain operational guides, legal intranet content, and process improvements
• Assist with budget tracking and implement processes to track legal team KPIs and metrics
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in finance and operations and liaise with external counsel

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education
• 5+ years of experience in contract management and legal operations, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
• Proven experience managing legal operations for in-house legal teams
• Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite
• Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Summize or similar contract management software
