Commercial Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Forecast overall manpower based on project demands and crew skill sets
• Manage the Commercial General Superintendent, Flatwork Superintendent, Layout Manager, and Project Management Team
• Oversee project and office personnel to ensure contract compliance and documented change orders
• Develop and track man-hour productivity goals for each project
• Lead project planning for site logistics, including concrete access, hoisting, and lane closures
• Implement training for Foremen to improve field efficiency and minimize overtime
• Review estimates with the preconstruction unit to ensure accurate production and material inclusion
• Lead weekly project reviews to monitor financial and executional standards

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 10 years of construction experience in a manager or supervisory role
• 5 years of specific experience in concrete construction
• Proven track record of team leadership and conflict resolution
• Ability to teach and follow standard safety practices
• Ability to be insured on the company auto policy
