Commercial Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the proposals team by setting priorities and managing performance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, competitive proposals.
• Oversee the end-to-end proposal development process, driving standardization and continuous improvement across tools, templates, and workflows.
• Provide commercial oversight throughout project execution to ensure customer commitments are met and facilitate seamless handovers between Sales and Operations.
• Coordinate with Technical Service teams to align technical solutions and proposal content with commercial objectives.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of Salesforce data, driving CRM adoption and generating commercial insights through reporting and analytics.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Coach and mentor team members to strengthen commercial, technical, and process capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, proposal management, or related functions.
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of proposal development, pricing strategies, commercial risk management, and contract processes.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or equivalent CRM platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Technical, Operations, and Project Management functions.
