About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute commercial moving of new and used office furniture and products
- Follow directions from Lead Movers and report task completion in a timely fashion
- Lift 50 pounds continuously and carry furniture up stairways
- Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and floor plans
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Perform all work-related duties in a safe manner
- Adapt to changing environments and work demands
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously
- Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays
- Dependable and flexible to work varying shifts
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Driver's License with clean record preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to drive straight trucks
- Aptitude to learn new procedures and techniques
