Commercial MBA Intern

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry deep dives, including mapping sub-sectors across therapeutic modalities and business models
• Identify, analyze, and recommend new business opportunities to support go-to-market strategies
• Support deal transactions through quantitative assessments, including financial modeling (rNPV) and market sizing
• Lead outreach efforts for major partnering conferences and generate target lists for new opportunities
• Build pitch decks and support internal operations to improve team efficiency

Requirements

• Current enrollment in an MBA or similar master's degree program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy, or business development/corporate strategy within Biotech/Pharma
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to develop fact-based opinions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with commercial and technical stakeholders
• Must be enrolled in a US-based institution and/or have US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior master's degree in a science-related field
• Prior bachelor's degree in a science or business-related field
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel modeling
• Understanding of synthetic biology and drug discovery/development processes
