Commercial Manufacturing Team Member

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and process innovation across Manufacturing, QC, and QA to ensure efficient commercial product delivery.
• Coordinate with team leaders and schedulers to optimize production schedules and ensure product demand meets commitment dates.
• Monitor key process data to maintain a controlled manufacturing state and drive improvements, including revalidation and change implementation.
• Communicate deviations and delays to stakeholders and assist in cross-functional investigations to ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain production dashboards reflecting key performance indicators (KPIs) regarding manufacturing performance.
• Support customer interactions, including meetings, workshops, and business reviews, to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Develop proposals for CAPEX investments and strategic initiatives to improve long-term operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in production, quality control, or quality assurance within pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing.
• 1-3 years of experience in the Biotech, Pharma, or CMO industry.
• Strong knowledge of CMC development of APIs and regulatory guidelines (ICH, 21 CFR).
• Proficiency in SAP, LIMS, and quality management systems.
• Experience with data analysis software such as Minitab for trending and KPI reporting.
• Proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and manage complex, simultaneous activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree (MSc) or PhD in a Science or Engineering field.
• Green Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Knowledge of peptide manufacturing.
• Familiarity with drug substance characterization analysis (HPLC, UPLC, LC-MS, etc.).
