Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy and contract management for Qube Bulk’s Mine Resupply operations.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Provide expert advice on contract terms and conditions to internal stakeholders.
• Manage agreements, communications, and variation claims.
• Update pricing for monthly fuel adjustments and annual rise and falls.
• Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and additional contracted services.
• Support tender development and responses in collaboration with the General Manager Commercial and Business Development teams.
• Use financial analysis to evaluate and act on commercial opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
• Promote Zero Harm principles and ensure compliance with safety documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the logistics, mining, or transport sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, or an equivalent discipline.
• Strong understanding of Commonwealth/State contracts and commercial legislation.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proven ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
