Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee cost plans, budgets, and CTC forecasts across all active projects
• Manage bid pipeline and validate tender estimates against market rates
• Enforce procurement governance and lead commercial evaluation of bids
• Manage the full contract lifecycle for main contracts, subcontracts, and consultants
• Oversee interim payment certificates, final accounts, variations, and claims
• Prepare and present consolidated commercial performance reports to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
• 18–20 years of experience in the construction industry
• Proven track record in a Commercial Manager or similar leadership role
• Familiarity with FIDIC, NEC, or UAE standard contracts
• Experience with main contractors and building sectors/villa compounds
• Strong expertise in cost control, estimation, and procurement

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's or postgraduate degree in Commercial Management, Project Management, or Construction Law
• MRICS, CIOB, or AIQS certification
• PMP certification
• Design & Build exposure
