Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontract procurement, Task Orders, payments, change control, and performance scoring
• Price works, manage change control, and develop contract opportunities to secure additional client spend
• Prepare monthly revenue claims and manage Work in Progress (WiP) to ensure full value is collected
• Produce month-end reports, including CVRs and subcontract liabilities
• Develop and manage financial forecasts, tracking spend against targets for turnover and margin
• Identify and mitigate contract risks
• Support the Head of Contract in the full delivery of contract services
• Attend client meetings to provide commercial updates and presentations

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience within highways or a related infrastructure environment
• Working knowledge of the Highways Method of Measurement and experience pricing highway works
• Proven capability managing month-end processes, including CVRs, revenue recognition, WiP, and debt management
• Experience overseeing subcontractors with detailed knowledge of NEC TSC forms
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
