Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales strategy for the UK Oil & Gas segment to grow market share and identify profitable opportunities.
• Manage key client relationships and identify potential new clients within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Determine optimal pricing strategies to balance profitability with customer satisfaction.
• Forecast business plans and revenue, as well as accurately forecast stock requirements to maintain target levels.
• Lead, mentor, and performance manage the Sales team, including conducting annual performance reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and external industry developments to maintain competitive positioning.
• Collate and analyze business data related to commercial activities for monthly reporting.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in sales, specifically within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Deep knowledge of Oil & Gas raw material conversion and products, including Low Alloys, Stainless, and Nickel Alloys.
• Strong understanding of operations and inventory management.
• Proven management and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a sales team.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.
