Commercial Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership to influence operational and financial outcomes across the Capcoal site
• Partner with operations to optimize performance, cost discipline, and value delivery aligned with production strategy
• Own the site’s financial performance, ensuring robust governance, accurate reporting, and full compliance
• Lead planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles to deliver forward-looking insights for decision-making
• Drive data-led performance analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and actionable improvements
• Lead capital governance and prioritization to ensure disciplined investment decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Joint Venture partners and key external stakeholders
• Lead, coach, and uplift the capability of a high-performing finance team

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Accounting, or Economics (CA/CPA highly regarded)
• Proven financial leadership experience in capital-intensive environments
• Deep understanding of cost and value drivers, operational performance, and site constraints
• Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, governance, internal controls, and IFRS compliance
• Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders and operational leaders
• Experience leading teams and building capability within a high-performance culture
