Commercial Loan Closing Associate

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-close and post-close activities for commercial, commercial real estate, and problem loans
• Coordinate loan closings directly with customers
• Perform customer, loan, and regulatory diligence alongside ongoing portfolio maintenance
• Evaluate and upload critical data into systems of record
• Manage an assigned portfolio of loans while ensuring compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve departmental goals
• Exercise independent judgment to support function, policies, and compliance requirements

Requirements

• 6+ months of Commercial Loan Closing experience (or equivalent through work experience, training, military experience, or education)
• Ability to leverage AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) for routine tasks like summarizing information and analyzing data
• Strong critical thinking skills to interpret AI outputs and validate insights
• Knowledge of bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Awareness of ethical considerations, data privacy, and responsible AI use
