Commercial Lines Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of commercial lines account managers and support staff
• Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, and training
• Oversee servicing of commercial accounts to ensure accuracy and quality
• Manage complex or high-value client relationships
• Partner with sales teams to onboard new clients
• Monitor retention strategies and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and carrier guidelines
• Optimize workflows, procedures, and systems
• Review and approve policies, endorsements, renewals, and coverage placements
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage solutions

Requirements

• 5–10+ years of commercial insurance experience
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Active Florida 2-20 or insurance license
• Proficiency with agency management systems (EPIC) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Deep knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional designations such as CIC, CPCU, or ARM
