Commercial Lines Leader

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and develop direct reports ranging from entry-level to Senior Account Executives
• Oversee service teams and ensure quality control standards are maintained
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for new and renewal business within the construction vertical
• Act as a senior technical advisor on placement and coverage for the department's largest accounts
• Collaborate with producers to develop tailored service plans and conduct business reviews
• Monitor department performance and manage the expense side of the P&L
• Cultivate professional relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and industry partners

Requirements

• 10+ years of insurance industry experience
• 5-10 years of management or leadership experience
• Active Property and Casualty insurance license
• Extensive experience marketing and servicing mid-to-large clients in the construction vertical
• Proficiency with EPIC Agency Management System
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Ability to travel 25-50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, or CIC
• Working knowledge of real estate, hospitality, or non-profit industries
• Expertise in property/builder’s risk, primary and excess casualty, surety, or management liability
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
