Commercial Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for client requests within a designated book of business
• Prepare renewal materials including premium and loss summaries, coverage comparisons, and rate analysis
• Partner with Account Executives on client interactions, technical analysis, and program design
• Manage marketing submissions and negotiate terms and pricing with insurance carriers
• Support new client onboarding, including managing the BOR process and gathering exposure information
• Perform administrative tasks such as premium allocations, certificate of insurance requests, and policy endorsements
• Proactively monitor industry changes and carrier communications to anticipate client coverage needs

Requirements

• Proficiency with Agency Management Systems (AMS) and maintaining data completeness
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office products, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with underwriters and clients
• Ability to travel up to 20% depending on the book of business

Preferred Qualifications

• Holds or is currently pursuing a general insurance designation
