Commercial Lead

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary cost management liaison with client and other project stakeholders
• Manage pre and post-contract duties including cost estimates, procurement, tendering, and contract administration
• Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports
• Perform estimating and cost planning, including producing final cost plans
• Manage tendering and procurement activity, including pre-qualification, tender analysis, and compiling contractual documents
• Ensure timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
• Produce and present monthly post-contract cost reports to the client
• Interface with clients and consultants at all project stages
• Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes
• Perform cost risk analysis, provide value engineering input, and negotiate final accounts
• Contribute to updating best practices in estimating

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Proven track record in cost management/quantity surveying across the full project lifecycle
• Experience leading cost management for large, complex construction projects
• Technical knowledge of Data centres or related facility asset types
• Knowledge of construction and procurement methods
• Proficiency with estimating tools, spreadsheets, and databases
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• English fluency required; German fluency preferred
• Availability for full-time on-site work at the construction site
