Commercial Launch Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage the physical setup of humanoid robots and necessary site infrastructure at new commercial or residential locations
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and software-based issues
• Work closely with engineering, build, and validation teams to resolve technical issues quickly
• Verify use-case stability on-site and provide actionable feedback to development teams to drive product improvements
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
• Develop tools and document diagnostic procedures for process improvement
• Travel extensively to customer or development partner sites (up to 75%)

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with complex systems
• Proficiency with computer-based tools including CMD prompt and Google Suite
• Experience using electrical hardware diagnostic tools such as Scopes, Digital MultiMeters, and Current Probes
• Ability to read PCB and harness schematics
• Experience with torque tools and mechanical assembly
• Ability to lift and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs
• Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics or working with small brushless motors
• Knowledge of harmonic drives, clutches, and torque/force sensors
• Experience with Catia, CAD-based programs, or PCB rework
• Familiarity with DAQ system implementation and fabrication
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Slack
• Knowledge of IPC 610, 620, or J-Std-001 standards
