About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned Commercial & Industrial customers, overseeing sales, customer service, rates, pricing, and power contracts
- Develop and implement effective customer sales, service, energy efficiency, and satisfaction strategies
- Maintain and grow revenue from assigned managed customer accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for all customer interactions, including electrical service requests and contract negotiations
- Communicate customer information and scheduled events involving distribution, substation, and transmission to relevant internal teams
- Partner with Power Delivery, Accounting, and Energy Services to resolve customer issues and ensure service success
- Assess customer relationships continuously to develop strategies for improvement and retention
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/industrial account management or Power Delivery
- Demonstrated experience facilitating electric service requests, creating load sheets, and developing sales proposals
- Knowledge of rates, pricing, bill calculation, rate studies, and contract negotiation
- Technical aptitude for commercial and industrial electrical and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a marketing-related field
- Experience using internal industry tools such as IDMS-SAM, iClear, iRate, RateSIM, CSS, CIT, Energy Direct, or Sales Cloud
- Proven track record of achieving sales results and delivering excellent customer service
