Commercial HVAC Technician

Responsibilities

• Maintain heavy commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, water cooled systems, receptacle compressors, Liebert systems, and controls
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and replace components of entire systems
• Conduct performance checks and regular maintenance on split systems up to 20 tons
• Perform maintenance or upgrades to out-of-season heavy commercial HVAC equipment
• Respond to service calls and emergency call outs in a timely manner
• Complete daily work reports accurately and timely
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally

Requirements

• Level 2 or Universal EPA Certification
• 10+ years of experience with commercial HVAC maintenance, repair, and servicing (specifically Liebert equipment)
• High level of knowledge regarding electronic, mechanical, and electrical components including refrigeration systems
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and via email
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

Preferred Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC level certification
