Commercial HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform factory start-up, commissioning, and warranty service on Data Center equipment and systems
• Start-up, commission, and support BMS on represented equipment
• Conduct electrical and mechanical inspections to ensure peak performance
• Interpret engineering drawings regarding system layout and operation
• Manage projects and processes independently with limited supervision
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on dedicated on-site equipment
• Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals
• Maintain safety standards and submit required documentation in a timely manner

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a Service Technician in a commercial environment
• Current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Electrical knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld computers
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in diverse conditions including noisy environments and extreme weather
• Ability to travel substantially within the operational region

Preferred Qualifications

• EPA Certification
• HVAC Journeyman or Master license
