About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of field service professionals, managing day-to-day priorities and optimizing resources.
- Forecast, monitor, and document financial performance against established plans.
- Meet with customers within the service territory to ensure satisfaction, retention, and identify new service opportunities.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train technicians to meet workload demands and company standards.
- Review work orders, invoices, and time reports for accuracy to ensure efficient accounts receivable management.
- Resolve warranty issues, product recalls, and operational problems related to equipment.
- Develop career paths and training plans to build a best-in-class service team and minimize attrition.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of experience in a Commercial HVAC Field Service role.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid and current Driver’s License (must be insurable by the company).
- Physical ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 feet and lift items up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5–10 years of commercial HVAC service leadership or equivalent field service leadership experience.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and service delivery models.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to develop teams and drive accountability.
- Technical aptitude regarding field diagnostics and service execution.
- Experience with Salesforce, ServiceMax, ERP/SAP systems, or similar service management platforms.
