Commercial Global Supply Manager - Manufacturing Design

Responsibilities

• Engage Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to strategically leverage large-scale Government electronics manufacturing promotion policies
• Lead CM partners in identifying and realizing the full benefits of Government policy initiatives to strengthen supply chain operations in India
• Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and establish price benchmarks against industry standards
• Cultivate long-term strategic partnerships with suppliers while preserving commercial leverage
• Serve as the primary commercial interface with Mechanical Design (MD) suppliers in India, leading cost reduction and negotiations
• Prepare and present executive-level summaries regarding commercial performance, risks, and opportunities
• Support commercial engagement with CMs encompassing capital cost planning and component part pricing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on commercial strategies and supply chain diversification

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in managing high volume manufacturing, consulting, or supply chain
• Strong background working in, or with, Government large-scale manufacturing promotion strategic initiatives
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's in Supply Chain or MBA from a premier institute
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Proven experience in driving cost reduction initiatives and facilitating group alignment
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into clear, structured program plans
• Experience operating effectively within complex matrix organizations and ambiguous environments
