Commercial Garage Door Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of installations and repairs to ensure they meet industry benchmarks
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to foster a secure environment
• Maintain accurate records of work, including notes, diagrams, and photos
• Identify customer needs and provide effective solutions or alternatives
• Maintain a professional and empathetic attitude toward customers and employees
• Seize opportunities to upsell products when appropriate
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with colleagues

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• High school degree
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and climb ladders
• Proficiency with basic hand tools
• Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and best practices
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in garage door installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial door systems (sectional, rolling steel, fire doors, high speed doors, and dock equipment)
• Experience with Service Titan
