Commercial Garage Door Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair commercial and industrial garage door systems, including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, fire doors, and gates
• Perform site inspections to ensure safety and quality compliance
• Document work with clear notes, diagrams, and photos
• Communicate professionally with customers and teammates
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols
• Use mobile tools and software to log work

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, use ladders, and work in a physically active environment
• Willingness to learn and complete hands-on training
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Availability for at least 8 weekdays of training within the first two weeks

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous garage door or gate experience preferred
