Commercial Finance Associate

Responsibilities

• Work closely with partners and have direct client contact representing national and regional financial institutions
• Draft and negotiate credit agreements, security agreements, amendments, and real estate documents
• Work on restructurings and workouts
• Handle syndicated credit facilities, cash flow, and asset-based lending transactions
• Manage acquisition financings and leveraged finance transactions, including structuring, documenting, and closing loan transactions

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in commercial finance
• Strong background in syndicated loan and debt finance transactions
• Experience representing the lender side (agent banks, lead arrangers, institutional lenders)
• Proficiency drafting and negotiating credit agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and ancillary loan documentation
• Top academic credentials
• Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships
