Commercial Finance Analyst - FP&A

Responsibilities

• Prepare and improve recurring financial reporting and variance analysis for the German business.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes by owning and improving forecasting models.
• Analyze commercial and operational KPIs, including revenue, margin, marketing spend, and customer economics.
• Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and datasets to improve decision-making transparency.
• Support business cases for commercial initiatives and marketing investments through scenario modelling.
• Identify risks and opportunities in performance trends and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in Controlling or FP&A within a commercial, e-commerce, or digital consumer environment.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced technical skills in Excel, specifically including PowerPivot and PowerQuery.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical insights.
• Fluent English; German language proficiency is a strong plus.
