Commercial Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing customer-level financial analyses and contribution margin models
• Build pricing and promotional templates for customer planning sessions
• Support Key Account Managers with data gathering, ad hoc reporting, and performance tracking
• Maintain volume, pricing, and trade spend inputs in forecasting models
• Support the monthly forecast process through data validation and consolidation
• Assist in tracking forecast accuracy and summarizing variances between planned and actual results
• Monitor and update promotional calendars and trade investment trackers
• Support post-event analysis and ROI calculations
• Produce recurring reports on sales, trade spend, and customer profitability
• Partner with IT and Finance to maintain data hygiene across systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, or sales support roles
• Strong Excel skills and a foundational understanding of financial statements
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and follow-through
• Strong organizational and time management skills
