About the role
Responsibilities
- Guarantee achievement of monthly and annual sales goals for the Mining unit, specifically in Geochemistry, Metallurgy, and Mineralogy
- Identify commercial opportunities and generate long-lasting relationships with new clients
- Perform active prospecting and interaction with potential clients to translate needs into technical solutions
- Manage and strengthen commercial relationships with key mining accounts in Mexico
- Execute a weekly plan of in-person visits to current and potential clients
- Represent SGS at trade fairs, congresses, and mining chambers
- Collaborate with other SGS subsidiaries to serve multinational client requirements
- Maintain commercial opportunity records in CRM tools
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure solid proposals aligned with client needs
Requirements
- Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geology
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the mining sector
- Solid knowledge and strategic networking in the Mexican mining market
- Familiarity with inspection, verification, certification, and geochemical analysis services
- Availability to travel within Mexico and occasionally abroad
- Intermediate English level
- Strong negotiation and consultative communication skills
