Commercial Executive – Geochemistry and Metallurgy

Responsibilities

• Guarantee achievement of monthly and annual sales goals for the Mining unit, specifically in Geochemistry, Metallurgy, and Mineralogy
• Identify commercial opportunities and generate long-lasting relationships with new clients
• Perform active prospecting and interaction with potential clients to translate needs into technical solutions
• Manage and strengthen commercial relationships with key mining accounts in Mexico
• Execute a weekly plan of in-person visits to current and potential clients
• Represent SGS at trade fairs, congresses, and mining chambers
• Collaborate with other SGS subsidiaries to serve multinational client requirements
• Maintain commercial opportunity records in CRM tools
• Coordinate with internal technical teams to ensure solid proposals aligned with client needs

Requirements

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Geology
• Minimum 10 years of sales experience in the mining sector
• Solid knowledge and strategic networking in the Mexican mining market
• Familiarity with inspection, verification, certification, and geochemical analysis services
• Availability to travel within Mexico and occasionally abroad
• Intermediate English level
• Strong negotiation and consultative communication skills
