About the role
Responsibilities
- Attract new business by identifying potential customers and converting leads into sales
- Negotiate sales deals, costs, and manage client relationships to build long-lasting partnerships
- Work closely with in-house content teams to ensure client work is fulfilled to a high standard
- Generate professional proposals and pitch documents for sponsors and advertisers
- Manage sales meetings and provide regular, insightful reporting on sales performance
- Utilize analytics and measurement tools to demonstrate ROI data to clients
- Support account managers in managing social advertising budgets and meeting revenue targets
- Organize and execute event brand activations
Requirements
- At least one year of sales experience in the media industry (internships or part-time experience accepted)
- Previous experience working within an agency, media, or advertising company
- Proven ability to generate leads and work independently using your own initiative
- Comfortable working towards monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Strong presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to organize event brand activations and manage multiple projects under short deadlines
- Ability to thrive within a fast-paced start-up environment
